Our Social and Broadcast Producer Becky is part of the Clean Cut Media video crew onsite at this year’s Wimbledon Championships. Here, Becky tells us about the first time she worked a the oldest tennis tournament in the world and how it feels to be back.

I first came to Wimbledon in 2008 as a Ball Kid. And this week I have loved being back in the grounds. I’ve been to Wimbledon a few times since I was a ball kid but only to watch the tournament and not to work. Being back in the grounds before the tournament and able to walk around brought back the buzz and excitement, it’s a special place to be. When I was a ball kid I already had ambitions to work in the media and got chosen to do an interview on the media balcony. I remember going up onto the balcony and being excited to be among the camera crews. To return this year and be working in that position was pretty cool and definitely felt like I’d come a long way from the kid that first walked through the Wimbledon gates in 2008.

Thank Becky, thats quite a career journey!
