Sgt Pepper 50th Anniversary
The Brief
Universal Music Group wanted a video to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the recording of Sgt Pepper by The Beatles at Abbey Road-Studio 2.
The Project
Using various recording machines and microphones from that specific era, we filmed series of sequences in Studio 2. At the same time Giles Martin, composer and son of Beatles producer George Martin, talked through the process of remastering the album for surround sound technology Dolby Atmos.
