The October Review from Clean Cut Media
During the second month of Autumn, the Clean Cut Media crew has mostly been in the air! That’s right, British Airways has whisked us away to SIX different countries hot on the heels of the ATP Tour. On site we interviewed and filmed the tennis players, we filmed the environs of the tournaments and where we could, we tried to experience some of the local specialities, enjoy the related blog Travel Tips from the crew.
For this October Review, our producers, camera operators and editors were kind enough to tell us how they manage to make their stay in a hotel as comfortable as possible. We have peppered our October highlights with these words from the crew!
1. China Open in Beijing, China.
“In terms of making yourself at home I try to spend as little amount of time in the room as possible. It’s best to get out and enjoy the city at any opportunity.”
2. Rakuten Japan Open Championships in Tokyo, Japan
“Going to the gym or for a run for me is key to try to maintain some semblance of routine and structure.”
3. Intrum Stockholm Open in Stockholm, Norway

” I take water, fruit and my favourite snacks from a local shop and put it in the hotel room fridge. I’m definitely not paying £4 for water!”
5. Rolex Paris Masters in Paris, France
” Instead of just calling, FaceTime your family and friends. I miss my kids and seeing their little faces is heart warming!”
6. Legends Cup in Palma, Mallorca
“I create a designated workstation in my hotel room. Having a mini office means I can complete my work quickly in the mornings and evenings!”
