Clean Cut Media joins local business initiative in Kingston

We have an exciting local business initiative to tell you about. Who better than Co Founder of Clean Cut Media Martin Lane? We asked him to tell us more:

Q. Hi Martin, so what’s happening locally?

A. We have joined the Kingston Pound scheme (for short K£).

Q. Tell us more…

A. For a long time I have been aware of local businesses and residents benefitting from this sort of scheme in other places like Brixton in London. So I was happy to hear it has been set up in Kingston. Essentially  it is designed to encourage local trade and production. It works alongside pounds sterling.

Q. How did you hear about it?

A. In the summer our Business Development Manager Charlotte O’Farrell joined lots of local businesses at Kingston Business Expo 2018. There she met Andrew Connolly (K£ Project Manager). Thanks to the swift follow up by Andrew, we had all the information we needed to make a quick decision to join.

Q. And Clean Cut Media is eligible why?

A. We operate from our edit facility in Hampton Wick, Kingston-upon-Thames. We are proud to work in this fantastic part of the world. As a local business we want to play an active and outward looking role in our community. The Kingston Pound gives us the opportunity to strengthen ties with residents, visitors and businesses.

Q. Have you had any payments yet?

A.  Not yet, but we welcome calls from anyone interested in any of our video production services. We are promoting it on our social media channels and in this news piece as well! We are chuffed to be listed with other participating organisations in Salmon magazine, the magazine of the Kingston Pound.

Q. What happens next?

A. Our 15 strong team of video editors, producers and camera crew love to eat, shop and socialise in our wonderful town. We are happy to reflect this and for our business to support our locality via the Kingston Pound.

Thanks Martin!
