Looking to hire professional camera kit in London? You’ve come to the right place.

We’ve built up a really good network of contacts in the film and tv industry, and now have a regular stream of freelance camera ops and production companies who hire camera kit from us.

Camera kit to hire

The technology in camera kit is moving so fast that it makes sense to hire, rather than buy. Here’s a round-up of the kind of cameras that are proving popular with our clients right now.

Sony PMW-F5 camera

Create spectacular images with the Sony PMW-F5 camera that captures 4K or HD video internally and 4K RAW with an external recorder. Easy to handle and easy to use, it’s great whether you’re shooting films, documentaries, outside broadcasts, live events, music promos or Electronic News Gathering (ENG).

Sony PMW-300 camera

We also hire out the Sony PMW-300 camera, a semi-shoulder handheld camcorder which provides broadcast quality images. This lightweight camera is perfect when you’re shooting on the fly, and is particularly well adapted to filming interviews, news reporting or for use as a second camera for sports events.

Sony Alpha a7S camera

The Sony Alpha a7S is another camera that’s in demand. This 12 megapixel full-frame mirrorless camera is designed for stills and video, and offers exceptional sensitivity, low noise and excellent 4K video quality. At Clean Cut Media, we often use this as a second camera for either wide angle or close shots during interviews. The Alpha a7S also comes in handy for tennis shoots, when we mount it on the Shark slider to capture tracking shots that add movement to the final edit.

Camera kit

Talking of sliders, as well as the Shark S1 Slider, we also hire out the DJI Ronin Gimbal. Mount your camera quickly to the gimbal and you’re ready to shoot professionally stabilised shots in moments. It gives you so many more options on set as you can run alongside people and capture long tracking shots, without any camera shake.

We also hire out a huge range of lenses, a full broadcast lighting rig, various background screens and an autocue.

Wet hire

Come to us for wet hire and we’ll provide both the kit and the crew to get your job done. We have a select crew of camera operators and we’re pretty picky about who we work with! You’ll find that the people in our wet hire crew are extremely reliable, creative and hard-working.
